A Financial Institution in London
Our brief was to create a UK headquarters equipped with cutting edge audio visual technology, reflecting the same standards as it’s US office based in New York. Working with the US based AV consultant, the UK fit-out and furniture companies we looked to create a seamless integrated look in all the rooms.
This UK and US based financial group required a state of the art boardroom and 5 additional rooms to support the expansion of it’s UK office, plus a solution for the CEO’s office.
The main boardroom features a dual screen set up with 75” Philips displays used for presentation. A state of the art audio conferencing set up has been installed to connect the whole space with video and audio contributors. Shure MXA910 ceiling tile microphones are installed in the ceiling and JBL Control
47LP and Tannoy CMS403ICTE ceiling speakers are used for far end sound, controlled via Polycom SoundStructure DSP and Crown amplification.
The Crestron control system, programmed by Insight manages audio visual, lighting and blind features throughout the room. A Polycom Group 700 series codec have been installed for video conferences used regularly between London and New York. To integrate cabled connectors to the furniture, Extron under table Cable Cubby 650UT feature in the room, with retractable connectors for external presentation tools and devices.
In the other meeting rooms Polycom Group 700 and Group 310 systems have been installed, with Shure MXA910 ceiling microphones or paired with a Polycom IP 7000 phone. All rooms are interconnected to a main Crestron switch in the rack room.
“We have used Insight for our AV requirements for 10 years, so it was natural to commission them for our company move. They had worked with our fit-out company and furniture supplier previously so the installation as a whole went very smoothly and we are very happy with the result. Everything was delivered in a professional way and the attention to detail was appreciated. The rack build and cable management was exceptional”
