Though
training rooms can be well specified, Insight describes these rooms
as the starting point for fixed equipment. Low cost installations
allow companies to smarten their training facilities without breaking
the bank!
The
starting point for any installation is your screen.
For low cost options you have pull down wall screens of various
sizes, that offer ceiling or wall mounting. This eliminates the
need for tripod screens that are unattractive and take up a significant
amount of floor space. To integrate the flipchart and whiteboard
a rail
system screen may be your preferred solution. This gives you
flexibility in how the room is set up as each item can be moved
on the rail.
Every
training room will have an OHP as standard and these are usually
box type products such as the Geha
folding arm series of projectors. This will be trolley mounted
in a Geha trolley such as the Geha
150. 35mm projectors are also standard equipment in training
rooms but are becoming less essential with the growth of data projection.
Data
projectors are becoming standard items in many training rooms. For
a low cost solution, an S-VGA
projector such as the Epson EMP
52 is ideal as it offers 1200 ansi
lumen and can be ceiling suspended. The Epson EMP
71 offers 1000 ansi
lumen and is the starting point for XGA
resolution which would be recommended for future proofing any
permanent installation.
