Conference
Centres cover the largest auditoriums that may seat up to 400 -
500 people. Therefore a large screen is essential along with a powerful
projector such as the NEC MT1065
or some of the Barco projectors not currently listed on this web
site.
All
multimedia devices are available in this environment, usually stored
in a projection room in rack mounts where source material can be
distributed via the control system. Many conference environments
also have equipment that allow satellite broadcast communication
and video streaming to allow WEB broadcasts for distribution over
LAN's.
Multi
camera video sources are often made available for large video conferencing
requirements with control via an engineer using pan, tilt and zoom
systems.
Audio
also needs to be powerful using input processors and power amplifiers
feeding surround sound speaker systems. Voice support systems are
also in place and can also incorporate audio
conferencing.
With
this complexity of equipment many of the largest and best equipped
conference centres will need engineer support and this should be
budgeted as an on going cost.
