History

Insight Visual Systems Ltd was started as a company in June 1991 by the current Managing Director Matthew McGill.

Following five years experience in AV with a company based in Welwyn Garden City, Matthew initially set up the business working from home, to keep costs to a minimum and get a foot hold in a market that was in recession.

Having established a customer base the company grew and in 1993 - Jill Isherwood, the current office manager joined and the company moved into its current premises at Unit 1A Foxholes Avenue in Hertford. Four years later the premises were purchased freehold along with Unit 1B, and later Unit 2 to cope with the expansion of the company.

For a decade the company focused on profitability rather than expansion and this secured a stable financial platform that the company retains today.

In 2001/2002 Matthew started working in 3D stereo projection supported by Partners Cyviz, targeting Oil and Gas and Pharmaceutical corporations. Success in these market areas gave us a huge knowledge base in terms of 3D projection and multi screen, multi source display systems, that current clients can rely on. This focus at the forefront of AV technology means that the experience we can bring to any solution however complex will be invaluable to our clients and give us an edge over our competition.

Expertise in these areas and company growth expanded our team, and with a move from hire and box sales, to AV integration and maintenance the engineering department was pulled in house. This engineering team is supported with training and CTS certification to offer clients knowledgeable and courteous service second to none.

Insight Visual Systems Ltd will continue to look to grow in the coming years, and our focus on specialist product areas and customer service will allow us to offer you unrivalled support.
